Oelwein, la. — Joseph Everett,
farmer near Fairbank until his retirement,
died at 10 a. m. Tuesday
at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Charles Mettlin, 210 Sixth street
southwest, where he had resided the
last 20 years. .
He was in his ninety-seventh year.
Mr. Everett was born in Germany
and came to the United States as
a young man, settling on a farm
near Fairbank. He came here about
20 years ago after the death of his
wife-
Surviving besides - the daughter, is
a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rinholt Hartong,
Lime Springs, la., six grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.
The body is at the Brandt funeral
home.
