Emma Brown is at her sister's, Mrs
Jim White's, quite sick with some sort
of throat trouble. Dr Soule is attending
her.
Oelwein Register - 9 June 1897E. M. Brown and family, of Stanley,
take this means of expressing
their sincerest thanks to all who assisted
in the illness and death of their
daughter Emma, who died from the
effects of diphtheria. Especial thanks
are due Dr. Soule, who took charge of
the remains and prepared them for
