PEYTON, Colo. - Jessica Jill Miller, 28, passed away Feb. 1, 2011, in a Colorado Springs hospital.
Jessie grew up near Arlington, the daughter of Rod and Debra (Pattison) Miller.
She attended Starmont School until her high school years, when she moved to Colorado.
Jessie loved her horses and dogs and spent many happy hours riding the hills of northeast Iowa and the meadows of Colorado.
She is loved and greatly missed by her soul mate Joey Warner and the joy of their life, daughter Kailey, 3; her mother Debra Miller of Peyton, Colo.; her brother Jeff of Denver, Colo.; her sister Jackie (John) and special niece Justine of Hot Springs, S.D.; her father Rod, his wife Julie and their daughter Jade of La Crescent, Minn.; her grandparents Jim and Mary Ann Miller of Fayette and Luella Pattison of Oelwein; Joey's parents Joe and Connie Warner of Peyton, and his sister Elizabeth; along with many special friends and relatives in Iowa and Colorado. Jessie is also loved and missed by her "second family" - her godmother Eileen Fagle and husband Floyd of Oelwein and their sons, Russ, Randy and Ron. Her horses Britches and Wonder and special dog Smiley will miss her loving care.
Jessie was reunited in heaven with her grandfather John Pattison.
Memorial services were held Feb. 5 at Gateway Church, Black Forest Campus, in Colorado Springs.
A memorial fund has been established for Jessie's daughter Kailey. Memorials can be sent to Gateway Church, 5605 N. Marksheffel Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80923, Attn: Kailey Cleo Warner Fund.
