Willie Scoby drowned 1897

Tuesday, Juno 8th, Willie Scoby. a
boy about 14 years old living with his
step-father, Sam Boleyn, of Illyria, fell
into Mink creek and drowned. As the
boy was subject to convulsions it is
supposed that was the cause of his falling
into the water. The body was
interred at the Illyria cemetery
Wednesday.
