Eva V, Keniston Day 1874 - 1930

Eva Viola Keniston was born September 8, 1874 and
passed away at her home in Cedar Rapids, January ?.
1930. She was the oldest daughter of Josephine and
Herbert Keniston. She grew to womanhood in this
city and graduated from the public school and taught
several years. Active member of the Grace M. E.
Church. On June ?, 1893 she married Levi Day. To
this union four daughters were born, two of whom
died in infancy. Mrs. Archie Picke and Mrs. Bert Jones
survive.
Those left to mourn besides her husband and two
daughters are her mother, Mrs. Josephine Keniston,
brother, Will Keniston and two sisters, Mrs. A. R.
Miller and Mrs. W. F. George and four grandchildren
and a grandson, Raymond Stiles who passed away
November 9, 1929. The grief from the loss of this
favorite grandchild was partly the cause of her death.
