WATERLOO — A prayer service
will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday
at Parrott and Wood Funeral
Home in Waterloo for John Potratz,
77. Waterloo, formerly of
Westgate.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Lutheran
church in Westgate with
burial in a Westgate cemetery. The
body will be taken to the church
at noon Thursday.
Mr. Potratz died at Schoitz Hospital
in Waterloo Monday. He is
survived by five sons, Arnold and
Erwin of Knoxville, Carl of Westgate,
Ferd of Waterloo and John
Jr. of Savanah, Ill. and five daughters,
Mrs. Herman Zitzke and Mrs.
Milan Finke, Milwaukee; Mrs.
Charles Jackson of Denver, Colo.;
Henrietta of Waterloo and Mrs. D. H.
Kuehl of Lake Mills, Wis.
Also surviving are two sisters
and six brothers, including Rudolph
of Oelwein, Herman and
August of Westgate and Gerhard
of Clermont, 22 grandchildren and
four great grandchildren.
