FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. -
Mary Katherine Brandt, 23, of
Fort Campbell, Ky., formerly of
Oelwein, died Thursday, Jan. 23
at Munroe Regional Medical
Center in Ocala.Fla.
Services will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 28 at Zion
American Lutheran Church in
Oelwein. Rev. LaVerne Streich
will officiate. Burial will be at
Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Brant-
Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home
any time today (Monday).
Born April 25, 1962 in Oelwein,
she graduated from Oelwein
Community High School in 1980
and had lived at Fort Campbell
since July 1985.
Survivors are her husband
Troy; a daughter, Krystal Kay;
her father, William D. Claus of
Oelwein; two brothers, William
D. Claus Jr. of Ocala, Fla., and
Jay Robert Claus of Minneapolis,
Minn. her paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Claus
of Oelwein; and maternal
grandmother, Mrs. Bernice
Driscoll of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by
her mother.
