Kershaw --- in Scott township, Friday
July 25, 1979, of cholera morbus,
John Kershaw, aged 59 years.

Mr. Kershaw was at work in the harvest
field the day before his death and eat a
hearty lunch and soon after was taken
with cholera morbus. The next morning
he was feeling better and went out to
help milk the cows -- while milking he was
taken bad again and helped to the house.
Dr. Patterson of Oelwein was called and
remained until death claimed its victim,
which occurred at four o'clock Friday evening.
