OELWEIN - Word was received of the death
of Doris Conkey, 74 of Baldwin Park, Calif.
and formerly of Oelwein.

She died Sunday, July 17 at the Queen of
the Valley Hospital in Covina, California.

She is survived by her mother, Blanche
Hart of the Oelwein Care Center and Bill
Kaltenbach of Hazleton; two sons, Richard
of Pomona, California and Robert of Baldwin
Park, California; two daughters, Patty Johnson
of Running Springs, California and Sandra
Mier of Westminster, California; seven grand-
children and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband,
Noel in 1983 and her father in 1939.

Burial is Saturday, July 23 at Oakdale Memorial
Park in Glendale, California.
