At his home in this city last Sunday,
after an illness of two weeks,
John C. Silence, aged thirty-six years.
The deceased leaves a family to mourn
his loss. The funeral services were
held at the residence on Tuesday, under
the auspices of the Oelwein Odd
Fellows Lodge, of which he was a
member, Rev. Lewis, of West Union,
conducting the services The remains
were interred in the Oelwein cemetery.
