Funeral services for Alfred Recker 61, Arlington
farmer, were at 11 am Monday at Sacred Heart
Church with the Rev. F. J. Kaufmann officiating and
burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mr. Recker died at Ottawa, Illinois Friday afternoon.
He has been long time resident of the Arlington area.

Survivors include his widow Florence; four sons,
Carl, Larry, Lyle and Dale all of Arlington; four daughters
Mrs. Darwin Rueber, Oelwein and Mrs. John Ryan and
John Woods, Fairbank and Linda at home.

Mr. Recker was a former vice president and member
of the Mercy Hospital advisory board. He resigned his
position about a year ago due to ill health.

Also surviving are four brothers and one sister. Hintz
Funeral home had charge of arrangements.
