Mrs. Katie Fettkether, 72, died
this morning at the Daniels Convalescent
home. Her body was
taken to the Brant funeral home
where arrangements will be made.
Services have tentatively been
set for Monday forenoon with burial
in the Fairbank Catholic cemetery.
Mrs. Fettkether is survived by
four sons, Raymond, Edward and
Ralph all of Oelwein and Cletus
of Maynard. Her husband, David,
preceded her in death in April
1949. Mrs. Fettkether had been a
resident of the community for a
number of years and had farmed
southwest of Oelwein.
