Job Strawn 1817 - 1895

Died at his home in Maynard, March 9th, Mr. Job Strawn,
aged 77 years and 10 months. He was born in Canada
May 11, 1817. Moved to Illinois in 1838. He was
married in 1847 to Charlotte Archer and moved to Iowa
in 1866. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church
March 12th. Rev. Goodsell preached the funeral sermon
from Psalms 37-23. An aged wife is left to mourn his
loss. He had been an invalid for many years.
