The funeral services of Mrs. Rice
were held from the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Everett Richards, Saturday
at 10 A. M.
Sophie Wetmore was born in Carroll
county N. Y., May 21, 1839. On July
30, 1856 she was united in marriage
to Mr. Sam Rice. She was the mother
of four children, two preceding her
in death. She leaves to mourn her
loss two daughters, Mrs. Everett Richards,
Mrs. Jim Flower, two grandchildren
and three great grandchildren
besides a host of friends and
other relatives.
