FAYETTE (Special) — Funeral
services are pending at Belles-
Wright funeral home in Fayette
for Dale Nefzger, 40, who died
Tuesday afternoon while on the
way to the West Union hospital.
He had been sick about a week.
Survivors include his wife; four
daughters, Dalyn and Charla, Oelwein;
Chris and Shelly, at home;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Nefzger; four brothers, Doyle,
West Union; Duane, Oelwein; Robert,
Fayette; and Richard, Independence;
two sisters, Mrs. Ralph
Pixler, West Union; and Mrs. Gordon
Smith, Fayette.

Funeral services were held Friday
afternoon, April 4 from the
Belles-Wright Funeral Home for
Dale Nefzger, who died Tuesday
afternoon at the hospital in West
Union.
Dale William Nefzger was
born Dec. 6, 1922 at Fayette,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Nefzger. He graduated from the
Fayette high school and attended
Upper Iowa college.
He was employed in aircraft
factories in Glendale, Calif., and
Omaha, Nebr. , before enlisting
in the army in 1946. He saw action
in the Pacific area, and rose
to the rank of Sargeant. He farmed
near Fayette for the past 20 years.
He is survived by his parents;
his wife Linda; one daughter, Shelly,
and a step daughter, Chris ;
two daughters by a previous marriage,
Dalyn and Charla; four brothers, Doyle
of West Union, Duane of Oelwein, Robert
of Fayette and Paul of Independence ;
two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Pixler of
West Union and Mrs, Gordon Smith
of Fayette.
The Belles-Wright F u n e r al
Home was in charge of the service,
with Dr. George T. Carl officiating.
Burial was in the Grand view cemetery.
