Clara Maud Foot 1868-1953

Clara Maud Henderson, the daughter of Alphonso and
Helen Strain Henderson, was born Oct 11, 1868. She
came to Fayette county when a small child with her
parents.
She was married to Henry H. Foot, September 16, 1885,
and they lived on their farm in Bethel township near
Hawkeye until 1926, when they moved to Hawkeye.
Mrs. Foot continued to live in Hawkeye after her husbands
death in 1930 until some 12 years ago when she moved
to Independence to a farm and later moved into the city.
For four years, she lived with her daughter and five years
ago she moved to Trenton, Mo. She died there in the home
of her daughter and funeral services and burial were made
on May 8.
She is survived by six daughters, one son, 14 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband and three sons.
