PVT William H. VERMILLION

Relatives of Pvt. Wiliam H. Vermillion, who has been listed as missing in action since October 6th (1944), (report) that he (has been officially) declared killed in action while serving with the infantry in France.

He is survived by two sisters, Miss Evelyn Vermillion of Davenport and Mrs. George Henry of this city(Oelwein IA). Two brothers, M/Sgt. Harry Vermillion and T/Sgt. Donald Vermillion are serving in the European theater of operation.

A brother, Fred Vermillion was killed in action in Germany February 4th of this year (1945). Both Pvt. Vermillion’s parents have preceded him in death.
