Lillian Esther Elvera Oelwein Seedorff, daughter of G. C. Barr
and Lena Oelwein was born Nov. 29, 1915 in Oelwein. She had
been ill for the past several years and on Monday, Jan 26, 1970
she died at University Hospitals, Iowa City, at the age of 54 years.

She spent her youth in Oelwein and graduated from the Oelwein
Public High school. She was baptized in 1915 in Zion Lutheran
church, Oelwein, April 13, 1930.

She married Wayne Seedorff in Zion Lutheran chuch, May 7, 1944.
Three children were born. They made their home in Dundee, Iowa.
for four years. After this they moved to Arlington and made their
home where they now live.

Suvivors include her husband, Wayne; three children, Gail,
Frankfurt, Germany; Bonnie of Dows, Iowa; and Zeke, Iowa State
University, Ames; one brother M. J. Barr, Oelwein, one sister, Mrs.
Carl Wunchell, Chicago, Ill.; and one aunt Mary Sappenfield,
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Burial was in Union Cemetery, Aurora, Iowa. ..
