OELWEIN - Saturday
funeral services have been set
for Inez D. McLeish. Mrs.
McLeish, 94, 512 1st Ave. N. W.,
died Wednesday at Grandview
Care Center where she had been
living the past two years.
Services will be Aug. 6 at
Brant-Kerns-Jamison Funeral
home at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
Carroll Brown of Grace United
Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Brant-
Kerns-Jamison Funeral home
after 2 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. McLeish was a retired
school teacher in the Oelwein
area for many years and was a
member of Grace United
Methodist Church.
She is survived by three
stepsons: Andrew McLeish,
Oelwein; Elmer McLeish,
Loveland, Colo.; and Charles
McLeish, Hawkeye; a stepdaughter,
Mrs. Margaret
Hughson, Waverly; many stepgranchildren
and step-greatgrandchildren,
nieces and
nephews. Her husband, Archie,
died April 6, 1972. She was
preceded in death by her
parents, her husband, one
brother, three sisters and two
stepdaughters.
Memorials in her name may
be given to Grace United
Methodist Church.
Mrs. McLeish was a lifelong
resident of the area. She was
born in rural Oelwein Feb. 21, 1894.
