William H. Erdman 1866-1934

William H. Erdman, son of Henry and Mary Erdman
was born December 19th, 1866 at Coytown,
Buchanan county, Iowa, where he lived the greater
part of his life, and died at the home of his sister,
March 30th 1934 at the age of 67 years, 3 months
and 11 days.

Mr. Erdman moved to Hazleton about 15 years ago
where he lived until the death of his wife, who
passed away September 24, 1932, after which he
went to live with his sister, Miss Hattie Erdman in
Oelwein. He leaves to mourn his loss one sister,
Miss Hattie Erdman, one niece, several cousins and
a host of friends. One brother died October 4, 1920
also one sister, Miss Cyrene Erdman, dying
September 26, 1932.

Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian
church in Hazleton Sunday afternoon. April 1,
1934, conducted by Rev. James Wray. Burial was
in the Hazleton cemetery.

H. S. Searle has returned to his home at St. Paul
having been called to the death of his sister,
Mrs. W. H. Erdman.
