Word was received of the death of William Reid
who passed away last night at St. Joseph, Missouri
following a heart attack. He was a former resident
of Oelwein and has a number of relatives and
friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at
2:30 o'clock at Savanna, Missouri. Mr. Carl Smith
left today noon to attend the funeral services.

He is survived by his wife and family and the
following brothers, Lee Reid of Strawberry Point;
Jeff and Jim Reid of Oelwein and a sister, Mrs. Ethel
Klug of Oelwein. A sister, Mrs. Carl Smith of this
city preceded him in death.
