Obituary.
Harriet M. Widger was born at New Lebanon, Columbia Co., N. Y., Nov. 24, 1837. She was married to Levi W. Burns in the year 1856, and to this union were born eight children, of whom six survive: Wm. W. Burns, Fayette; John E. Burns, Atchison, Kan.; Harriet E. Wroe, Valley Springs, Dak.; Robt. B. Burns, Yankton, S. Dak. The father of this family passed away Feb. 2, 1888, at Lima, Iowa.
Deceased was married to Eli Widger Dec. 29, 1892.
She was converted when 14 years of age and united with the M. E. church.
Her death occurred on May 9, 1906, at her home in Fayette, and the funeral was held in the Methodist church on May 11th. Rev. Dr. Sanderson conducted the services.
