Services set for former area man
FAYETTE (Special) -
Funeral services for a former resident of the Fayette and West Union area, Floyd Nefzger, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Bellis-Wright Funeral Home in Fayette. Nefzger, 77, a butter-maker in West Union for many years, died July 2 in Brookfield, III.
Services were held Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran church in Brookfield, followed by the Monday services at Fayette with the Rev. David Poganski officiating. Burial was in the Grandview Cemetery at Fayette.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Marilyn) Laschinski of Carol Stream, Ill.; one son, David Nefzger of Washington, D. C.; three grandsons; two granddaughters; two sisters-m-laws, Mrs. Pearl Nefzger of Fayette and Mrs. Martha Homewood of West Union; and a number of nieces and nephews.
