MRS. FRANCIS FAUSER----OBITUARY
Francis Isabelle Clark, daughter of James and Sophia Clark, was born near Oskaloosa, Iowa, Nov. 11, 1855, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Palmer at Oelwein, Ia., June 30, 1931, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and nine days.
On Saturday morning, June 20th, she received a fall causing injuries from which she was unable to recover.
At an early age she was united in marriage to Edward Hamrick, who passed away at the age of twenty six years, leaving her with a family of five small children, four of whom survive, Mrs. Margaret Nefzgar of Lima, Mrs. Nettie Reed of Maynard, Chas. Hamrick of Fayette and John Hamrick of Maynard.
After a few years she came to Fayette, where, she met and was united in marriage with Adolph Fauser, who preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1910. To this union was born seven children, six of whom survive: Mrs. May Palmer, Arthur, and Paul of Oelwein, Lester and Peter of Fayette, and Grover of Marshall, Mich. Also twenty-nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters to mourn her loss.
She was a kind and loving wife and mother always interested in the welfare of her family and home, always willing to lend a helping hand to a neighbor or friend in time or need.
After a short funeral service the body was taken to Fayette yesterday, where the services were conducted by D. M. Parker, the singing by Mr. and Mrs. H. Hettler and Miss Knos at the piano. The pallbearers were six of her sons: Charles and John Hamrick and Lester, Grover, Paul and Arthur Fauser. Burial was in Grandview cemetery at Fayette.—Con.
