INDEPENDENCE (Special)
— Services were held this morning (Monday) for Mrs. Vena Faust, 83, of Rowley, who died Friday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Rmf note: “Vera” probable first name.
Services were in the White Funeral Home, Independence, with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Victor (Edna) Krob of Rowley and Mrs. Alice Book of Minburn; two sons, Orvin (Bud) Faust of Sallisaw, Okla., and Delwyn Faust of Waterloo; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Jensen of Oelwein and Esther Price of Vinton; a brother, Marian Helm of Hayfield, Minn.; and a half-brother, George Hoist of Edgewood.
