Mrs. Elizabeth Jensen of Oelwein died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein.
Mrs. Jensen, a housewife, was a member- of the VFW auxiliary, First Baptist Church, and the Young at Heart Club at the First Baptist Church. She was 92 and had been a resident of Oelwein for the past 69 years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oelwein with the Rev. Mark Riggins officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Jensen of Oelwein and Kenneth Jensen of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren ; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Holtz of Dubuque and Marian Helm of Hayfield, Minn; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Price of Vinton and Mrs. Catherine Debois of Edgewood; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alexander Jensen who died Dec. 6, 1953; one son, Floyd; three brothers and three sisters.
