HAZELTON (Special)-Oma E. Gillman was born May 5, 1864 in Allamakee county, Iowa, and died Feb. 18, 1946 at Hazleton, Iowa after an illness of three weeks. She was 81 years, 9 months and 13 days old.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gillman and came to Buchanan county as a small girl. She was married to Grovenor V. Munger March 22, 1882. To this union four children were born; one daughter, Blanche Vargason and three sons, Lloyd, Walter and Harry Munger, all of Hazleton.
Besides her four children those who survive her are one sister, Mrs. Lucy Bell of Miller, Mo.; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband January 30, 1928. In 1939, she was married to John Helm at Oelwein who died in June 1945.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Hazleton Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'- clock with Rev. DeWitt Clinton of the Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Hazleton cemetery.
