Linda Gott, 61, of Alpha, died Friday, Oct 15, 1999, at her home, of natural causes.

Funeral services were held Tues., Oct 19, at 2 p.m., at the Alpha Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial was at the New Hampton Cemetery. The Conway Funeral Home of New Hampton handled arrangements.

Linda was born Oct. 29, 1937, at New Hampton, the daughter of Sydney and Leona (Wendt) Gott. She graduated from Bank No. 8 rural school near Sumner and attended Sumner High School.

The family moved to Fayette in 1943 and to Arlington in 1944. They then lived in Sumner for 18 years, Westgate for 24 years and made their
home in Alpha the past eight years.

Linda enjoyed traveling, music and gardening.

Survivors include two sisters, Nancy Gott of Alpha and Stella Gott of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Albert of Sumner; three nephews; two nieces; two great nieces; and two great nephews.

Linda Gott was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Doretta Mae.
