Passing of Andrew Cannon

Born January 31, 1880 -- Died March 6, 1917

Andrew Cannon died March 6, 1917, in St. Mary's hospital in Chicago, of pneumonia, the body was brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. I. N. Yarrington in Oelwein Thursday. The last service was held from the Sacred Heart church Friday morning, March 9. He was born January 31, 1880, near Fairbank, on a farm. He was a resident of Chicago at the time of his death. He leaves a wife, parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cannon, three sisters, Mrs. I. N. Yarrington, of Oelwein, Mrs. Bert Williams of Cambridge, Iowa, and Mrs. M. Seeber, of Nebraska, and two brothers, Thomas and Frank, of Oelwein. Interment in the new city cemetery.
