Wadena Rites Tuesday For Mrs. John De Wald

Wadena, Ia. -- Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's church here for Mrs. John DeWald, 44, who died at her farm home, two miles southwest of Wadena, Saturday morning.

Surviving are her husband and three children, Dan, John and Dolores, all of Wadena. Her Mother, Mrs. D. W. Considine, of Wadena, also survives. The body will be at the Brant funeral home of Oelwein until Sunday night, when it will be taken to the farm home. Burial will be at Fairbank.

Mrs. John DeWald Passed Away at Wadena Saturday

Mrs. John DeWald, aged 44, passed away at her home two miles southwest of Wadena early Saturday morning. She had been in poor health since last December.

Besides her widower she is survived by three children, Daniel of Wadena, and Delores Ann and John Francis, at home, also her mother, Mrs. D. W. Considine of Wadena.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Joseph church at Wadena and burial made at Fairbank.

Life Sketch of Mrs. John DeWald

Funeral services for Mrs. John DeWald were held here Tuesday morning, March 11, at 10 o'clock from the St. Joseph Catholic church, the pastor, Rev. Dorrance Noonan officiating.

Mrs. DeWald was born at Fairbank, April 30, 1898 and died at her home in Wadena Saturday, March 8, after a few months' illness.

She was united in marriage on Feb. 12, 1917. About two years ago Mr. and Mrs. DeWald and family moved from Fairbank to the Matt Kelly farm where they have since made their home.

Those left to mourn her departure are her widower, her mother, Mrs. Mary Considine, two sons, Daniel and John Francis, and one daughter, Lois Ann.

Burial was made in the Fairbank Catholic cemetery.
