Carl Lonborg, 77, died at his home at 30 North
Frederick this morning at 7 am. He was born
in Denmark. Mr. Lonborg was a retired C.G.W.
car repairman, and had lived in Oelwein 26
years. He was associated with the I.O.O.F.
and the A.O.U.W.

He is survived by his wife; five sons, Lewis,
Dubuque; William, Cedar Rapids; Arthur, Evanston
Ill.; John, Liberty, Mo.; Adolph, Kimball,
South Dakota; two brothers and one sister in
Denmark; Six grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Brant Funeral
home Thursday, Jan. 29 at 2:30 pm. The body
will be at the funeral home until the services.
Burial will be in Woodlawn.
