Funeral services for Oliver R. Larson were held Saturday, July 20 at 3 p.m. in the West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont. Rev. Donald Loots officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Clermont was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in God's Acres Cemetery, Clermont.

A Masonic service was held at Schutte's Clermont Chapel, Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m., conducted by the Clermont Lodge No. 160.

Oliver Russell Larson, son of Otto and Ruth (Peterson) Larson was born May 7, 1932 on a farm in Fayette County, near West Union, IA. He died at his home in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, July 15, 1991.

He was baptized May 29, 1932 and confirmed June 8, 1947, both in the West Clermont Lutheran church. He attended the Clermont High School.

He was married to Margaret Mark. They had a daughter, Wendy. Margaret died in 1961.

On March 6, 1965 he married Martha Sue Jacobs Zmijewski. They had a son, Daniel.

He was employed by the Keebler Cookie Company while living in Toledo, OH. He continued to work for them and was transferred to several locations including Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia and finally to Phoenix, AZ., where they lived for 9 years. He retired in 1989, after 23 years with the Keebler Company.

He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge in Lambertville, MI and had served as a Deputy and a member of the Dearborn Masonic Lodge No. 172, F. & A. M. in Dearborn, MI.

Preceding him in death were his father; his wife Margaret, who died in 1961 and a stepson, Ronald Mark.

Surviving are his wife, Martha, a son, Daniel Larson, Oak Creek, WI; a daughter, Wendy Hardesty, Redford, MI; 4 stepchildren, Catherine (Larry) Grossman, Debbie Koch and Steve (Theresa) and Tom Zmijewski, all of Phoenix; 4 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Larson, West Union; a brother, LaVern Larson, Prescott, AZ and a sister, Janice (John) Yauslin, Clermont.

Casket bearers were Art Lind, Paul Anderson, Jeff Yauslin, Jerry Yauslin, Jim McChane and Terry Larson
