Services for Robert L. Wagner, Davenport, were held Thursday, Aug. 24, at Runge Mortuary, Davenport, Iowa, with graveside service held at West Union Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Dick Menzel, Masonic Lodge and the military.

Robert L. Wagner, son of Perry R. and Frances (Chensvold) Wagner, was born Aug. 12, 1927, in West Union. He died Thursday, Aug. 21, in Davenport after a long illness.

He attended West Union schools and graduated from West Union High School in 1945 and entered the U.S. Navy. After serving in the Navy, he as employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.

He was united in marriage with Geraldine M. Darnall Feb. 16, 1953, and three children were born to them.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine; a son, Jay; two daughters, Jody Cunningham and Jane Foster; one brother, Donald E., West Des Moines; three grandchildren, Shawna and Stacey Cunningham and Jeffrey Wagner, all of Davenport.
