Funeral services for Frances Agnes Wagner, West Union, Iowa, were held at Bethel Presbyterian Church Monday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. Officiating the service was Rev. Richard Menzel. The pallbearers were Jay Wagner, Richard Wagner, James Wagner, James Schiefer, Allen Meyer and Eric Nesvik. Burial was in West Union Cemetery.

Frances Agnes Wagner was born Feb. 28, 1901, in Fayette County. She attended West Union High School and Iowa State Teachers School (UNI). On Dec. 27, 1924, she was married to Perry Wagner. She was a 50-year member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and active in many of the church's organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Wagner, Davenport, and Donald Wagner, West Des Moines; six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

The arrangements were handled by Burnham and Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
