Mary Lucille Weigel, 73, 325
5th Avenue SE, Oelwein, died
Sunday night, Aug. 3 at her
home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m.
Thursday at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church. Rev. James
Goedken will officiate. Burial
will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m
Tuesday at the Brant-Kerns-
Jamison Funeral Home where
there will be a Catholic
Daughters of America rosary
recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday and a
public scripture service at 8
p.m. Wednesday.
A school teacher for 38 years,
18 of them in rural schools, she
taught at Stanley and Oelwein
before retiring in 1975. She had
lived in Oelwein for 50 years.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs.
Francys Horan of Clermont; a
niece and a nephew. She was
preceded in death by her
husband Melvin, who died in
1983, and her parents.
