MRS. WAYNE MEYER
Mrs. Wayne Meyer, 40, of
800 Oregon St., died Tuesday
morning at St. Francis Hospital
where she was admitted earlier
Tuesday suffering from a diabetic
coma.
Helen Louise Jacoby was
born June 17. 1925, in Oelwein,
the daughter of Paul and Louise
Jacoby. She moved here in
1943 and on Sept. 6, 1947, she
was married to Wayne Meyer
here. They had lived in Waterloo
since their marriage.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of
Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband;
two daughters, Judy and
Janet, and one son, Jerry, all
at home; her mother, Mrs.
Louise Steggall, also of 800
Oregon St.; her father of Cedar
Rapids; and six sisters,
Mrs. Theodore Mienders, 1318
5th St., Cedar Falls, Mrs.
William Scheetz, Cedar Rapids,
Mrs. Joe Sauer, 127 Dearborn
Ave., Mrs. Pauline Clausson,
427 Reed St., Mrs. Connie Gill,
Delmar, and Mrs. Jacob Wentworfh,
427 Downing Ave.
Funeral services will. be at
1:30 p. m. Friday at Grace Lutheran
Church with Rev. M. W.
Bergmann, pastor, officiating.
Friends may call at the Chapel
of Memories West after 2 p. m.
Wednesday.
