Ernest Peasley, 77. 218 Fourth
Avenue NW, Oelwein, died at his
home Tuesday morning.
Born Nov. 15, 1907, he was a
retired farmer and carpenter
and had lived in Oelwein since
1971.
Funeral services will be 10:30
a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at Grace
United Methodist Church in
Oelwein. Rev. Carroll Brown
will officiate.
Burial will be at Floral Hills
Memorial Garden Friends may
call at the Floral Hills Chapel
Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m.
Thursday.
Survivors include his wife
Yvonne: a daughter. Vione
Peasley of Cedar Rapids: four
step-sons, Randy Robinson of
Independence. Larry Robinson
and Greg Robinson, both of
Oelwein, and Danny Robinson of
Denver, Co.; three step-
daughters. Becky Robinson of
Oelwein. Mrs. Shirley Hamlett
of Las Vegas. Nev., and Mrs.
Nancy Lahr of Salmon. Idaho: a
brother. Joe of Clinton, and a
sister. Mabel Folks. of
Bloomington. Ill.
