MRS. EDWARD HEISERMAN - Obituary

May Ogsburg was born in West Union, Iowa, July 22, 1864. She
grew to womanhood here and was married to Edward Heiserman
July 7, 1880. After their marriage they made their home on a
farm southwest of West Union for several years; they then moved
to the home place one half mile south of town, where they lived
for many years. Their three sons, Harry, Ray and Day were born
on this farm. Harry died some years ago, Day was killed in action
in France just a few hours before the Armistice was signed.

Mr. and Mrs. Heiserman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary
July 7, 1930. Mrs. Heiserman passed away March 1, 1934.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Ray of Sumner; two
sisters, Nettie and Libbie Baldwin of Los Angeles, California; and
one granddaughter, Gladys of Sumner, Iowa.

Mrs. Heiserman was an active member of the Legion Auxiliary. She
also belonged to the Missionary Society of the Methodist church
and took part in other activities.

Funeral Services were held in the Methodist church Saturday,
March 4 at three-thirty o'clock, conducted by the Rev. E. I. Selden.
