Miss Olive Swales who for a
number of years has been In poor
health, had been seriously ill of
late and passed away at her home
in Fayette last Thursday, where
she had been tenderly cared for
by her sister Miss Abie Swales.
Her parents have preceded her In
death but she is survived by several
brothers and sisters among
whom are Miss Abble Swales of
Fayette; John Swales of Garden
Prairie; Florence, now Mrs. Roy
Wallace of Roscoe, Illinois and
Will Swales of Missouri. A short
service was held at the home Saturday
afternoon and then a service was held
at the Garden Prairie Church
southeast of Fayette which
is near the old home of the Swales
family.
