Mrs. S. S. (Hazel) Hoffman, 58,
died early this morning at Shottz
Memorial hospital in Waterloo
after a lingering illness.
A former resident of Oelwein,
she moved to Waterloo 30 years
ago.
Born Oct. 27, 1895 in Oelwein
she was the daughter of R. D. and
Sallie B. Conkey.
Survivors include her husband,
a daughter Jane Conkey Hoffman,
Oelwein, her mother Mrs. R. D
Conkey and a brother R. E Conkey
both of Oelwein and a brother.
R. B. Conkey of Hammond, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two
brothers and her father.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday in Waterloo. Other details
are pending. Burial will be at
Woodlawn cemetery in Oelwein.
