Mr. Ed Shillington, aged 65 years, died at his home
101 11th Avenue, SW at five o'clock this morning,
death being due to an acute heart attack. He leaves
a devoted wife, five daughters, Mrs. Lee Inman and
Mrs. Blanche Strawn of Oelwein, Mrs. Rose Schaffer
of Chicago, Laverne Shillington of Chicago and Mrs.
Ben Kappes of Washington, D.C. to mourn his death.
The body will lie in state at the Brant Funeral home
until Monday afternoon and the funeral services will
be held at the Baptist church. Rev. and Mrs. C. E.
Hillis officiating at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Burial
will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
