Arthur Steggal Dies Monday Afternoon

Relatives in Sumner were notifed of the death of Arthur Steggall at his home in Cedar Rapids.

Basil Arthur Steggall is the son of Edward De Witt Steggall and Julia Ann Lawrence. He was born July 13, 1904 Oelwein, Fayette Co., Iowa.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday morning, at 10 a.m. at the Beady & Burrell Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, with burial in the Hazelton Cemetery.

Mr. Steggall's wife is the former Lula Hoth of Sumner. married October 15, 1925 in Sumner, Bremer Co., Iowa.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters,Lucille, Lois, Luella, one son, Lowell Arthur and seven brothers and sisters.

Before moving to Cedar Rapids, the Steggalls were residents of Oelwein.

Mr. Steggall is the brother-in-law of Robert Gersonde, Mrs. Norma Zobel, George and Clarence Gersonde all of Sumner.
