Ed Sims died at his home Monday,
May 10. His funeral was held at the
F. B. church Wednesday

May 13.—Monday evening, May 10,
1908, occurred the death of Edward
F. Sims, son of George A. and Sarah
Sims. He was born July 22, 1878,
In Oran township, Fayette county,
Iowa, and has spent most of his life
here except about two years in California.
Last fall he came home from
Whltter, Cal., and has been falling In
health since. Bright's disease was
the cause of his death. Last January
he accepted and confessed Christ as
his savior and has lived happy in the
faith. He was a member of the
Knights of Pythias and requested that
the order have charge of his funeral
and also that Rev. J. A. Cockran
preach his funeral sermon. He is survived'
by his father, brother, one sister,
Mrs. A. J. Burke, Wiliston, N.
D., and half sister, Mrs. Frank Mc-
Gee of Whltter, Cal., and half brother
of A. L. Hunter, of Oelweln. The services
were held at the F. B. church
Wednesday at 2:00 . The services
were conducted by Rev. Cockran and
Interment was in the Fairbank cemetery.
