LEROY E. PALMER. LeRoy E. Palmer, 80, of 924 W. 6th St., died at 7 a. m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Convalescent Home of complications incident to advanced age. He was born Sept. 1, 1882, at Maynard, son of Oscar and Ellen Starr Palmer, and married Pearl May Fauser Oct. 22, 1907, at Fayette. He was employed 37 -1/2 years by the Gamble-Robinson Co., retiring in 1951. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are a son, Cecil L. Palmer, of El Paso, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen McDonald, at home, and Mrs. Louis Larson of La Porte City; a sister, Mrs. Roy Langley of Maynard; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, two sisters, one brother and parents. Funeral services are pending at the Locke Funeral Home.
