Mrs. Arthur Polege
Services will be held Saturday
at 2 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran
church in. Fairbank for Mrs. 'Arthur
(Evelyn Marian) Polege, 44
the Rev. Otto Schultz of Westgate
officiating. Burial will be in the
Fairbank cemetery.
Mrs. Polege was dead on arrival
at Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo
Thursday at 11:15 a. m She
reportedly became ill while eating
breakfast and was rushed to the
hospital by ambulance.
Surviving are her husband and
a daughter, Donna, at home. A
daughter, Diane, preceded her in
death.
Also surviving are six sisters
and three brothers, Mrs. Oliver
Hunnemuller, Waterloo; Mrs Helen
Johnston, Waterloo; Mrs Marie
Bullein, Hanover, Ill.; Mrs.
Wilda Blek, Hanover, Ill. Mrs
Verna Curtis, Evansdale; Mrs
Ercil Johnson, Evansdale, Dale
and Henry Wierck, Rockford Ill.
and Norbert Wierck, Waterloo
Her grandmother, Mrs. Anna Niebuhr,
Fairbank, also survives.
Mrs. Polege was born April 12,
1913, in Buchanan county the
daughter of Peter and Elizabeth
Niebuhr Wierck. She had resided
in Fairbank the past 25 years.
The body will repose at the
Fairbank residence this evening
and until the hour of services
Brant funeral home is in charge
of arrangements.
