OELWEIN — Betty Lou Turney, 79, of Oelwein, died Friday, Sept. 26, at Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein; services 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein, with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, rural Oelwein; visitation noon until services Thursday at the church; Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, (319) 283-4922, is in charge of arrangements; memorials to Multiple Sclerosis Association.
