WATERLOO — Funeral services
for Mrs. Minnie Fenley Kane,
84, who died Saturday at a Waterloo
convalescent home, will be
conducted Tuesday at Waterloo
with burial in Woodlawn cemetery
in Oelwein.
The Rev. Leo G. Potter, pastor
of Central Christian church, will
officiate at the 1 p. m. services at
Kearns-Dykeman funeral chapel.
Graveside, rites will be held at
Oelwein at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Kane was born June 9,
1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Phillips, at Louisville, Ky. She
was a resident of St. Paul, Minn.,
and Oelwein before moving to Waterloo
13 years ago.
She married Simpson Fenley in
June, 1890, at St. Paul and he died
in 1921. In December, 1928, she
married Robert Kane, who died
in 1948.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. C. F. Baush, Cedar Falls,
and Mrs. Harry D. Ross, Waterloo.
Also a sister, Mrs. Mollie
Young, Louisville, and six grandchildren,
12 great-grandchildren
and two great great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Ruby Mars, preceded
her in death.
