LITTLETON- Funeral services for Harold Benjamin "Ben" Lilibridge
will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at. Christ United Presbyterian
Church, Oelwein, with the Rev. Richard B. Emery and the Rev. John
Kerr officiating.
Burial will be in Hazleton (Fontana) Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 until 8 p.m. Monday
at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home,
Oelwein, and for one hour before services at
the church Tuesday.
Mr. Lillibridge, 57, died at his home Friday
morning, May 15, 1998, of injuries he received
in a fire at his residence.
He was born April 12, 1941, in Santa
Monica, Calif. He married Loretta Jane
Anderman on June 10,1959, at Hazleton. Mr.
Lillibridge worked at the John Deere Tractor
Works, Waterloo, for 31 years retiring in
1995. He had also recently worked at Furniture
Showcase in Oelwein. He was a member of First Presbyterian
Church, Hazleton.
Survivors include his wife, Jane of Littleton; one daughter, Shelly
(Steve) McLaury of Jordan, Minn.; four sons, Mitchell of Oelwein, Tim
of Waterloo, Jeff (Robin) of Yelm, Wash., and Todd (Rachel) of Eden
Prairie, Minn.; four grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Jordyn and Logan; his
mother. Lorraine Pleis of Oelwein; four brothers, Steve Pleis of Cedar
Falls, Larry, Tom and Mike Lillibridge. all of Oelwein; and four sisters,
Donna Saathoff of Hazelton, Cheryl Barth, Kim Ruden and Roxanne
Weber, all of Oelwein.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lillibridge; stepmother.
