HAZLETON - Susie A.
Clendenen, 98, of Hazleton, died
Wednesday, Jan 23 at Mercy
Hospital in Oelwein.
Funeral services for the longtime
area resident will he 1:30
p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the
Branl-Kerns-Jamison Funeral
Home in Oelwein. Rev. LaVerne
Streich will officiate.
Friends may call after 2 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Floral Hills
Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons,
John Clendenen of Oelwein and
Harry Clendenen of McCatskill.
Ark.; three daughters, Mrs.
Glen (Bess) Heitter of Oelwein.
Mrs. Leo (Marjorie) Kerns of
Hazleton and Mrs. Hazel Reid of
Indianapolis, Ind.; 32 grandchildren
and many greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, John
Clendenen, who died in 1956, two
sons, Fred and Cecil, and a
daughter, Levada Rueber.
