Merritt Bushby d. 1974 at age 75

FAIRBANK - Merritt Bushby,
a former resident of Fairbank,
died yesterday (Thursday) in
Spokane, Wash., where he has
made his home at this time. He
was 75.
Graveside services will be held
Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Fairbank
cemetery, with the Woods
Funeral Home, Fairbank, in
charge of arrangements.
Bushby was an electrician in
Oelwein before moving to
Waverly where he was an
engineer for the city. He later
moved to Spokane, Wash., to
make his home and was retired at
the time of his death.
Surviving are four sons:
Merritt, Bob and Harvey, all of
Illinois; John of Newport, Wash.;
three sisters: Emily Lee, Des
Moines; Mrs. Cash (Mildred)
Ward, Fairbank; Mrs. Alice
Peterson, Seattle, Wash.
